# Piping Stress Engineer

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Piping Stress Engineer in the Engineering consulting industry in Mississauga, Ontario. This is a 6 - 12 month contract opportunity. Total rewards:$55.00 - $78.00 hourly Please note that the rates indicated are subject to the individual’s experience level and contractor classification, whether operating as an independent contractor or as a T4 contractor. Preferred rates for benefit coverage available A typical day:Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure that piping systems comply with project specifications, and processes. Prepare/review the Stress specification and develop/maintain the stress critical line list. Nominated anchor bay locations and provide loads for anchor bays, structures, tanks, equipment, etc. Participate in layout reviews and provide comments on the layout prior to formal flexibility analysis. Provide guidance to designers on supporting of systems not subject to formal analysis. Complete piping stress analysis in accordance with ASME B31.3, nominating support locations.
