Responsibilities include structural analysis, layout development, and detailed design for multidisciplinary projects from concept through execution. The role prepares engineering calculations, technical specifications, reports, and data sheets while providing guidance to designers and junior engineers. \nTotal rewards:$95000.00 - $135000.00 annually\nWork with one of Canada's Top 3 Engineering Firms\nPension\nBonus Program\nBuild a Rewarding Long-Term Career\n\nA typical day:Develop and maintain structural specifications, design criteria, standards, and engineering procedures.\nPrepare technical specifications, reports, memos, and project documentation.\nContribute to capital cost estimates, operating cost assessments, and proposal development.\nParticipate in design reviews and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and engineering standards.\nReview and mentor the work of junior engineers, designers, technicians, and technologists.\nManage small capital and maintenance projects, including scope definition, progress reporting, and document stamping where required.\nSupport project delivery by assisting with scope, budget, schedule, and resource coordination.\nPerform structural analysis and prepare engineering calculations for concrete and steel structures.\n\nSuccessful candidates will have:Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited university.\nP.Eng. designation required (preferably Saskatchewan), or actively pursuing professional registration.\n7+ years of structural engineering experience in industrial, mining, hydropower, or dam projects.\nStrong knowledge of structural design codes, engineering standards, and project execution workflows.\nProficiency with STAAD.Pro; experience with Mathcad, SAP2000, and 3D data-centric design tools is an asset.\nStrong planning, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.\nExperience with engineering management systems, task delegation, and supervision of technical teams.\nDemonstrated commitment to HSEC standards and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.\n\nThis posting is for an active opening. \nInterested? \nPlease apply directly online \n\nAgilus by Synergie would like to thank all candidates for their interest in this opportunity.
