Our main offices are in Brussels' city center, and we gather there every Friday to foster team exchanges and strengthen our collective culture.\nWhat will you do day-to-day?\nConceive and build maintainable (cloud) data architectures (infrastructure, ETL, infra-as-code…)\nIntegrate data sources by developing data pipelines\nCreate large data warehouses and datamarts fit for further reporting or advanced analytics\nMonitor the quality and stability of data solutions\nOptimize data ecosystems' performance & costs\nSupport Agilytic Data Scientists & Data Analysts in deploying data solutions for the clients\nStay up to date with the latest developments in data technology\nCoach and actively share your knowledge with your colleagues\nRequirements\nWe are looking for strong candidates with the following academic and professional experiences.\nYour background\nA master's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related quantitative discipline\nAt least 3 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a closely related role, with hands-on exposure to big data platforms (Databricks, EMR, Cloudera, Hadoop...), cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP), or end-to-end BI projects\nA real appetite for picking up new tools and techniques as the field evolves\nYour skills\nTechnical knowledge in one or more of the following competencies \nData pipeline management/ETL processing\nDatabase management (SQL and noSQL databases)\nData modeling basics (3NF, Star Schema…)\nLarge file storage (HDFS, Data Lake, S3, Blob storage…)\nCloud platforms management like AWS, Google Cloud or Azure, in a data context\nDocker\nDevOps best practices integration (CI/CD, Infra-as-Code, unit testing…) is a plus\nWorkflow management such as Airflow or Oozie is a plus\nStream processing such as Kafka, Kinesis, Elasticsearch is a plus\n\nProgramming languages requirements \nWorking experience with Python, SQL (Java, Scala are also considered)\nKnowledge of Spark with Scala or Pyspark is a plus\n\nOther requirements \nFluency in English (our internal working language) is required, plus fluency in French or Dutch.
