Do you want to make an impact in a company that puts Africa at the heart of its project?\nJoin AGL, the leading multimodal logistics operator on the African continent!\n Job description\n Job Title\n OTHER\nINVENTORY CONTROLLER M/F\nContract Type\n FIXED TERM CONTRACT\nJob Location\n Africa, Kenya, NAIROBI\nWorking Hours\n Full time\nMission Description\n The Inventory Controller is responsible for monitoring coffee movements from receipt, storage, internal transfers, processing and re-bagging through to dispatch, while maintaining traceability by client, lot, grade, marks, warrant/status, bag count and weight.\nKey Responsibilities:\n1. Maintain accurate inventory records for all coffee held in the warehouse. \n2. Verify that physical stock locations correspond with system-recorded locations. \n3. Monitor all stock movements between warehouse locations including independently verifying coffee issued from warehouse stock to processing.\n4. Investigate differences between physical stock and system balances and follow up on unresolved discrepancies until closure.\n5. Ensure coffee is not moved, processed or dispatched without appropriate authorization and documentation. \n6. Reconcile coffee returned from processing against the original quantity issued. \n7. Coordinate daily, weekly and monthly stock reconciliations.\n8. Prepare formal variance reports.\n9. Clearly identify coffee subject to restrictions, holds or pending warrant cancellations. \n10. Ensure inventory transactions have sufficient supporting documentation\n11. Ensure inventory controls support full product traceability.\n12. Immediately escalate suspected stock tampering unauthorized movement, contamination or loss.\n13.
