Buyer will be responsible for purchasing technical, engineering, project and site-services requirements, managing suppliers and overseeing the engineering store.\nMain Responsibilities:\nProcurement and Suppliers\nPurchase products, materials, equipment and services.\nProcess purchase requests and prepare purchase orders.\nObtain and compare quotations, prices, specifications and lead times.\nNegotiate competitive prices and favourable terms with suppliers.\nBuild and maintain supplier relationships and hold regular supplier meetings.\nEnsure supplier accounts and procurement records remain up to date.\nManage outstanding orders, deliveries and payment requests.\nMonitor stock levels and arrange replenishment when stock is low.\nEngineering Store\nEstablish and manage the engineering store.\nManage electrical and mechanical stock.\nMaintain accurate records of stock received and issued.\nEnsure expensive tools and equipment are properly booked in and out.\nAssist with budgeting and project-related purchasing.\nSite Services\nPurchase materials, equipment and services required for civil works and site-services projects.\nPerform ad hoc or other related duties as assigned.\nSkills and Capabilities:\nStrong negotiation and supplier-management skills\nExcellent computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel\nGood organisational and time-management skills\nAble to work under pressure and meet deadlines\nStrong problem-solving skills\nHigh level of accuracy and attention to detail\nBasic knowledge of electrical and mechanical materials\nMinimum Requirements:\nQualifications\nNational Senior Certificate\nA relevant qualification in Procurement, Logistics or Supply Chain Management will be advantageous.\nExperience\nMinimum of one year’s relevant work experience, preferably in purchasing or procurement.\nExperience with technical purchasing or stock management will be advantageous.\nOther specific requirements\nFull professional proficiency in Afrikaans and English, both spoken and
