The Chemical Process Engineer position is a permanent position based in Wellington, Western Cape. This position will form part of the Process Engineering team.\nMain Responsibilities\nAssist with process technology development on bench, pilot, semi-commercial and commercial scales\nOptimise, and improve chemical, physical and biochemical processes to meet production goals and improve efficiency\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions\nConduct process simulations and modelling to evaluate process performance and identify areas for improvement\nTroubleshoot process issues and develop effective solutions to minimise downtime and ensure optimal production\nProvide support in all phases of production, including end-product support\nDevelop and maintain process documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs)\nAssist in the quality control process\nProvide technical support to various organisational departments and operations\nAssist in Product issues in the field and develop POKE YOKE’s to prevent reoccurrence of the issues\nAd Hoc or other related duties as assigned\nMinimum Requirements\nCompleted degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
