The Assistant Marketing Manager is responsible for executing project management activities (performance, innovations, renovations, extensions and discontinuations), in addition to supporting the team on specific mandates. Projects and products may be intended for the industrial sector (further-processing market), foodservice or retail. Supports project progress within the PRIME process and other related committees;\nManages the life cycle of products under their responsibility: develops strategies and executes product launches, line extensions and discontinuations with the various stakeholders (e.g., sales force, production, etc.);\nAnalyzes the performance of certain product lines, including market review, trends and positioning. Identifies opportunities and risks and recommends action plans;\nCollaborates with internal stakeholders (e.g., sales, operations, production, I&PD), as well as external stakeholders (e.g., suppliers);\nManages the category marketing budget (processing purchase orders, paying invoices and performing monthly reconciliations);\nCoordinates updates to the various tools related to portfolio management (GS1, code creation, certifications).\nThe type of player who fits in well with the team:\nBachelor’s degree in business administration (marketing) or a related discipline;\nMinimum of two (2) years of experience in marketing, project management and/or consumer product commercialization;\nKnowledge of the dairy/food industry is an asset;\nExcellent command of French and English, both spoken and written, with strong communication skills;\nDemonstrates strong attention to detail, organizational skills and priority management;\nStrong analytical and synthesis skills;\nA role for those who believe that performance is achieved collectively.\nAgropur welcomes people from all backgrounds and origins.
