Being part of the team means committing to an environment where everyone’s impact truly matters.\nAt Agropur, each role aims to generate value and have a tangible impact on collective performance.\nContext to maximize your impact:\n Salary range 005: $84,200 - $105,200 (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position.)\n Work Schedule: Monday - Friday\nMedical, Dental, Vision, Life, Short and Long-term Disability Insurance \n401(k) with 7% company contributions \n3 weeks Paid Time Off\nPaid holidays and 2 floating holidays\nPaid parental leave\nAdvancement Opportunities\nWhere you will drive value:\nWe are looking for a Automation Engineer in Luxemburg, WI.\nThe Automation Engineer is responsible for the plant-wide programming of automation and controls systems along with facilitating projects, assisting with troubleshooting, training technicians, and implementing new policies and procedures.\nResponsible for all aspects of HMI’s including modifying existing graphics, creating new graphics based on an existing library of blocks, alarms, trends, backing up and restoring HMI projects, maintaining and troubleshooting industrial PC’s and touchscreens .\nConfigure and interface with many different types of field instruments with both Ethernet/IP and hardwired IO including VFDs, level sensors, flow meters, chart recorders, photo eye’s, temperature sensors, etc.\nModify existing control panels and design new control panels as needed including AC and DC power distribution, fuses, breakers, terminal blocks, power supplies, etc. Must be able to conform to all appropriate electrical standards including NFPA 70E.\nTroubleshoot and maintain Ethernet networks as needed. Must have at least a basic understanding of IP addresses, netmasks, gateways, DNS, switches, routers, and cat5(e) wiring.\nTroubleshoot and maintain various communication networks, DH+, ControlNet, DeviceNet, IO Link, etc.\nAssist with problem solving to keep the plant running.\nTroubleshoot and modify existing PLC and HMI programs.\nWrite new programs for PLCs, and HMIs.\nProgram VFDs, sensors, networks, chart recorders, and miscellaneous devices.\nManage and implement projects as assigned.\nTrain and develop team members.\nMaintain process-related computers and systems.\nHelp with systems/structure for maintaining equipment and department documentation.\nHelp production with efficiencies, throughput, safety, and quality.\nWork with management on new ideas or policies from concept to implementation.\nWhat will enable you to have an impact:\nAssociate or Technical School Degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation preferred.\nBachelor's Degree preferred.\nEquivalent combination of education and/or experienced may be considered.\nMinimum three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment required.\nDairy and project management experience preferred.\nPLC/HMI and Drive programming knowledge required.\nExperience using CAD software required.\nA role aligned with what creates the greatest collective impact.\n#CH-1\nAgropur welcomes people from all backgrounds and origins.
