We expect everyone to take ownership of challenges and act.\nAn environment that allows you to focus on what truly matters:\n$35.40/hrwith two potential pay increases within first year of employment!\n 6:00am - 6:00pm - 2-2-3 Schedule\n401(k) Retirement Plan with up to a 7% company match\nPaid Time Off (available on day 1)\nPaid holidays and 2 floating holidays\nPaid parental leave\nBonus Program\nShoe Allowance\n\nWe are looking for aBoiler Utilities Operator inLe Sueur, MN.\nThe Boiler Utilities Operator applies knowledge of boiler house processes and equipment to perform all regular and non-routine plant operations and maintenance, including operations of boilers, HVAC and associated equipment, laboratory and clerical work to ensure maximum production quantity and quality while supporting the policies, goals and objectives of the organization.\nYour role in achieving results:\nOperate and maintain automatically fired boilers, water softeners and reverse osmosis (RO) systems. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment such as traps, pipes, valves and make repairs when necessary.\nMaintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment problems with plant.\nOperate and maintain plant air compressors to ensure incoming quality air for the plant.\nAmmonia Refrigeration experience, HAZWOPER, ability to perform maintenance PMs on ammonia system.\nSupport, implement, and maintain food safety practices as required through SQF.\nMaintain accurate records of boilers and other equipment on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis, as required.\nMonitor use and inventories of process chemicals and supplies.\nWill be responsible for completing job duties in a manner that supports all plant safety, food safety, quality, and environmental practices.\nPerform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.\nUsing strong knowledge of PSM program, assist in program management and documentation.\nWhat we are looking for to deliver these results:\nMinimum three (3) years of experience in boiler operations required. \nExperience operating hand tools, power tools, machine tools (lathe, mill, etc.), welders, refrigeration and electrical test equipment required.\nExperience distinguishing between sounds or vibrations for equipment repair required.\nStrong mechanical aptitude, including pumps and steam generation required.\nExperience performing mechanical and electrical troubleshooting required.\nExperience reading blueprints and electrical schematics required.\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.\nSpecialized vocational training in maintenance mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, machine shop, electricity, boiler operation and refrigeration or completed apprenticeship program required.\nCertification/Licensure Required:\n1st Class B Boiler Operators License required.
