This role ensures a steady supply of materials to production while maintaining accurate inventory records and adhering to safety and quality standards.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:\nRetrieve cheese from coolers and deliver to prep and process rooms to ensure continuous production flow.\nOpen forms and prepare materials for production use.\nReceive incoming product and verify against packing slips (quantity, type, and quality).\nPost product receipts into SAP accurately and in a timely manner.\nReplenish product in coolers and maintain warehouse organization.\nAssemble customer orders and prepare them for shipment.\nComplete all required documentation accurately and on time.\nMaintain all warehouse locations and inventory records.\nParticipate in all scheduled inventory counts (mandatory attendance).\nFollow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and OHSA guidelines.\nOperate material handling equipment safely (including forklifts, once trained/certified).\nOther Duties and Responsibilities:\nWork performed in cooler environments for varying lengths of time\nOccasional longer hours or weekend work required based on customer needs\nMandatory availability for weekend inventory counts\nUnderstand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices\nSafety Protocol\nStop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures\nCorrect or report any observed safety hazards\nSupport safety policies and programs\nThis list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.\nQualifications:\nEducation Required:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.\nEquivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.\nExperience Required:\nExperience working in a distribution or warehouse environment preferred.\nExperience using RF scanning equipment is considered an asset.\nCertification/Licensure Required:\nForklift certification an asset (forklift certification will be provided; must successfully complete required training and testing).\nSkills Required:\nStrong communication skills.\nGood attendance and reliability.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.\nAbility to operate or learn manual material handling equipment.\nHigh attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.\nAbility to work in cooler environments for extended periods.\nCommitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.\nKnowledge of cheese products and quality requirements is considered an asset.\nPeople are at the heart of our success.
