The Marketing Manager is responsible for managing and developing all facets of the assigned business marketing operations program either personally or in collaboration with other marketing team members.\nHow you will contribute to collective success:\nManage all facets of business unit’s marketing program which includes: integrated marketing communications, planning of white papers, technical bulletins, presentations, press releases, ad campaigns, tradeshows, conferences, event, and promotional gifts.\nManage all aspects of new product launches from research through launch to reporting.\nPerform research on market trends and suggest new products and marketing tactics and trends to identify growth opportunities\nProvide timely reports on measurement to VP Marketing and Creative and other noted leaders.\nMarketing point of contact for assigned business segment and the connector between the various departments (Research & Development, Finance, Strategic Sourcing, Sales & Operations Planning, and Production) to bring marketing elements to life.\nPrepares the yearly marketing plan, long and short-term strategy, and benchmark studies for assigned segment.\nSchedule, create, distribute and maintain various multi-media marketing tools which includes: email campaigns, webinars, online video and social media channels. Analyze and communicate analytic metrics to relevant sales participants and management team members. Segment and manage contact lists where applicable.\nManage and attend tradeshow programs cross functionally (strategic planning, booth design, digital and traditional promotion, attendance, invitations, logistics, budget).\nResearch new market trends and market reaction to promotional activities to recommend strategy adjustments.\nEvaluate the performance and positioning of products under its responsibility as well as those of competitors to identify opportunities/threats.\nManage and help direct creative for advertising, ensuring the identified programs stay on schedule and campaigns support company priorities.\nWork seamlessly with creative manager for all internal and external creative marketing projects.\nProvide detailed guidance to any project requests for creative team, human resources, R&D or communications.\nSuggest newsworthy content and editorial inspiration to the Content Writer/Strategist, as it relates to the assigned businesses.\nPresent and summarize weekly creative direction to team members and Director.\nAuthorize marketing surveys to gather information pertinent to viability of proposed promotional projects.\nPrepare annual department budget, authorize expenditures, and track project costs to control expenses. Report on progress, responsible for tracking invoices and expenses against budget.\nFunction as executive producer of film, videotape, and Web projects.
