This role leads portfolio simplification, SKU rationalization, and product renovation initiatives using market, consumer, and financial insights. Working closely with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams, the successful candidate ensures portfolio decisions align with brand strategy, business objectives, and evolving consumer needs.\nAn environment that enables you to focus on what truly matters:\nRecognition of years of service for vacation calculation;\nFlexible group insurance plan including telemedicine services;\nEmployee assistance program;\nOpportunities to invest in yourself (career development, etc.);\nAnnual bonus;\nPension plan with company contributions;\n Salary scale 005: $84 600 to $105 800 ( Base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and skills related to the position.)\nYour role in achieving results:\nDevelop and execute the category portfolio optimization roadmap to drive growth, profitability, consumer relevance, and operational efficiency.\nAnalyze portfolio and SKU performance to identify business opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement.\nDevelop and implement product renovation, simplification, rationalization, and delisting strategies.\nLead cross-functional portfolio optimization projects from business case development through implementation.\nPartner with Brand Management teams to ensure portfolio decisions align with brand strategies and long-term objectives.\nCollaborate with Innovation teams to align portfolio optimization initiatives with growth priorities.\nIdentify opportunities to reduce complexity and improve operational efficiency while maintaining consumer and customer value.\nBuild business cases and recommendations to enhance growth, margins, and profitability.\nManage product lifecycle activities and coordinate portfolio changes with cross-functional stakeholders.\nServe as the subject matter expert for the fresh products portfolio and provide strategic guidance to internal stakeholders.\nMonitor consumer, market, and competitive trends to anticipate opportunities and mitigate risks.\nMeasure the impact of portfolio optimization initiatives and communicate results and recommendations to business partners.\nWhat we are looking for to deliver these results:\n5+ years of experience in portfolio management, category management, or project management, preferably within the food or consumer packaged goods industry.\nProven experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving portfolio optimization, SKU rationalization, product renovation, and product lifecycle management.\nStrong ability to translate consumer, customer, financial, and operational data into actionable recommendations.\nExperience developing business cases and driving growth, profitability, productivity, and cost optimization initiatives.\nExcellent project management skills and familiarity with structured methodologies such as Stage-Gate or Agile.\nStrong business acumen with a solid understanding of P&L management, margins, profitability, and financial analysis.\nAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.\nStrong stakeholder management and influencing skills in a matrix environment.\nExcellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.\nProficiency with Microsoft 365, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.\nExperience using NielsenIQ.\nBilingual in French and English, both written and spoken.\nA role for those who want to make a real impact and contribute to measurable and sustainable results \n\nAgropur welcomes people from all backgrounds and origins.
