The incumbent leads operations, develops teams and ensures the achievement of safety, quality, service, productivity and financial performance objectives.\nThe Warehouse Director acts as a transformation leader by building a culture of operational excellence, accountability, prevention and continuous improvement. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, the incumbent ensures the reliability of automated systems, operational stability and an outstanding customer experience. Through strong leadership, the Warehouse Director creates a high-performance environment where employee engagement, innovation and operational discipline help establish the distribution centre as a benchmark for efficiency, safety and quality.\nContext to maximize your impact:\nRecognition of years of service for vacation entitlement calculations.\nFlexible group insurance plan, including telemedicine services.\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP).\nOpportunities to invest in yourself (career development, training, etc.).\nPension plan with company contributions.\nSalary Grade 007: $118,000 to $147,500 (Base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and job-related competencies.)\nWhere you will drive value:\nLead site operations to achieve safety, quality, service, productivity, inventory and automated systems performance objectives.\nLead operational readiness, integrated testing, commissioning and ramp-up of the new automated distribution centre.\nEnsure the stability, availability and continuous improvement of automated systems in collaboration with IT teams, integrators and technology partners.\nIdentify opportunities to optimize operations, workflows, service and costs, and monitor performance through key performance indicators and dashboards.\nIdentify and manage operational risks that could impact safety, commissioning, productivity or the achievement of site objectives.\nBuild and develop a high-performing management and operations team in a unionized environment, fostering accountability, collaboration and talent development.\nDevelop internal capabilities in automation, maintenance and operations, including the transfer of knowledge from technology partners to internal teams.\nEnsure compliance with quality and food safety standards applicable to dairy products, including CFIA and HACCP requirements, as well as monitoring audits and inspections.\nManage the site’s annual budget, monitor expenses and variances, and implement optimization strategies.\nWork closely with Supply Chain, Quality, IT and other partner functions to drive the overall performance of the distribution centre.\nWhat will enable you to have an impact:\nBachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.\nMinimum of 10 years of relevant experience in logistics, distribution, or industrial operations, including significant management experience in a highly automated environment.\nExperience leading multidisciplinary teams and complex operations, with a strong ability to develop people and build a strong operational culture.\nStrong experience in problem-solving, root cause analysis, and implementing fact- and data-based action plans.\nGood understanding of automated environments and WMS, WCS, and ERP systems.\nExperience supporting the start-up, ramp-up, transformation, or stabilization of complex operations, considered an asset.\nLabour relations experience in a unionized environment, considered an asset.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English (English is required to collaborate with colleagues in other Canadian provinces).\nA role aligned with what creates the greatest collective impact.\nPeople are at the heart of our success.
