This position will also be required to use a forklift and load and unload other trucks as well.\nYour role in achieving results:\nMaintain load manifests and all other vehicle documents, ensuring they are properly completed and balanced with truck counts and shipping documents before and after deliveries.\nSafely operate a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment as needed. \nInspect company vehicle for visual defects when the vehicle is not running and operating defects when the vehicle is running; complete a daily inspection report per DOT rules.\nComply with all DOT hours of service and rules of the road.\nDeliver merchandise to the appropriate location using the company vehicle; ensuring delivery receipt is signed by the receiver.\nPrepare, stage, load and unload trucks safely and accurately. Keep truck and trailer clean and swept.\nFill out all logs accurately and submit to the proper people.\nReport any issues with equipment to manager or supervisor.\nUnderstand and comply with all Quality Assurance policies, immediately reporting any potential food safety issues to management.\nKeep daily truck logs.\nPerform general maintenance of trucks.\nTake trucks in for inspection, service and maintenance.\nWhat we are looking for to deliver these results:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferred.\nMinimum of four (4) years of experience driving a truck and backing a trailer required.\nMinimum of two (2) years of experience operating a forklift required.\nExperience backing a trailer into a dock required.\nGood mechanical aptitude required.\nSlip Sheet Unit/Powerlift Jack operation preferred. \nCertification/Licensure Required:\nClass A CDL with airbrake/tanker endorsement required.\nClean driving record required.\nMedical Examiner Certification to drive truck required.\nAgropur welcomes people from all backgrounds and origins.
