The Quality Control Technician systematically monitors and evaluates various products and is focused on maximizing the probability that product standards are being met and exceeded by performing inspections, testing and communicating effectively with stakeholders across the team. Successful Quality Control Technicians are autonomous problem solvers that continually learn and grow their skill set to meet the demands of our markets.\nResponsibilities\nReview and make appropriate decisions based on workload\nVerify product in accordance with documentation, AHEAD Method, AHEAD Defaults, and customer’s defined requirements\nPerforms routine inspections of electronic sub-assemblies, cable, and hardware assemblies\nDocument deviations from process, product, form, fit and or function\nEffectively communicate the deviation, how the deviation was identified and the resolution of the deviation\nResolve minor deviations before moving the product to the next stage\nSharing work experience in a friendly and professional manner\nCreate product or process standards where none exists in conjunction with respective departments\nEnsure process and product amendments are captured in appropriate documentation\nLearn new or custom product standards and their conformance to our process\nEnsure product adherence to established standards of strength, quality, and endurance\nPerform testing of completed products using provided test equipment and software\nOperating mechanical and electrical test equipment to check apparatus for conformance to standard requirements\nCollect data and put into tables and charts (metrics)\nMaintain Internal Diagnostics programs in conjunction with respective departments\nAssist with Training of new team members\nContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed\nQualifications\nA high-school diploma or GED, or an additional three years of related on-the-job experience\nTwo years of on-the-job experience in mechanical inspection or a related field\nTwo years working knowledge of computer hardware or networking\nRelies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals\nAbility to work in a team environment\nEffective interpersonal oral and written communication skills a must\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs\nDetail and process oriented\nContinued interest in new technologies and willingness to learn\nStrong problem-solving skills\nAdherence to AHEAD core values,
