This role reviews and tunes configurations, assesses the supportability of planned deployments, and helps clients prepare for Azure product changes and future improvements.\nYou will work with the Client Success Manager and client stakeholders to prioritize work, estimate effort, document findings, and perform approved changes. You will also serve as a support engineer for cases within your designated product specialty, providing technical analysis and troubleshooting in coordination with the support team. The support team coordinates incident ownership and client communications; incident work is tracked separately from proactive engineering hours.\nResponsibilities\nReview configurations across client Azure subscriptions and recommend practical improvements.\n\nPerform supportability reviews ahead of planned Azure migrations and deployments.\n\nIdentify dependencies and operational gaps in proposed Azure changes.\n\nAdvise clients on relevant Azure capabilities and product changes that could improve existing environments, including cost and operational implications.\n\nBuild and maintainworking knowledge of each client’s technology, processes, stakeholders, and operational priorities.\n\nAssess current deployments and contribute design input for enhancements.\n\nPerform approved configuration tuning within the agreed proactive engineering scope.\n\nDocument findings, prioritized recommendations, implementation steps, and completed changes.\n\nSchedule work with the Client Success Manager, estimate and track hours, and communicate progress in client reviews.\n\nIdentifymigrations, new landing zones, major implementations, and other requests requiring separately scoped project work.\n\nRequired qualifications\nStrong working knowledge of Azure administration, including subscriptions, identity and access, networking, compute,storage, monitoring, security, and governance.\n\nExperience assessing productionAzure environments and turning findings into practical, prioritized recommendations.\n\nAbility to independently evaluate supportability and perform changes through client change-control processes.\n\nExperience with PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Azure administration tools.\n\nStrong documentation, effort-estimation, and client communication skills.\n\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).\n\nPreferred qualifications\n5-7 years of relevant hands-on Azure engineering experience, including enterprise client experience.\n\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).\n\nExperience with Bicep or Terraform, Azure Policy, Azure Monitor, and Microsoft Entra ID.\n\nExperience delivering planned engineering work across multiple
