The SSE is also considered an organizational thought leader for their specialty area.\n*Must be in PST*\nResponsibilities\nActive participation in the AHEAD SSE and service delivery teams\nBe a thought leader for AHEAD clients, responsible for designing, architecting technical solutions\nSupport the sales teams during engagements by providing advice and solutions or proposals optimized to meet customer technical and business requirements\nDevelop relationships with other Observability SSE team members, leaders, and partners in support of sales objectives\nStrategize and execute technical sales calls\nComplete required pre-sales documentation (configurations, pricing, services, presentations, justifications, etc.) quickly and accurately\nQualify sales opportunities in terms of customer technical requirements, decision-making process, and funding\nPresent and market the design and value of proposed AHEAD solutions and business justification to customers, prospects, and AHEAD management\nParticipate in the mentorship of entry-level team members \nPossess strong, detailed product/technology/industry knowledge\nKnowledge of job-associated software and applications\nTravel required up to 30%\nQualifications\nExpertise in observability technologies such as Datadog, Dynatrace, Chronosphere, New Relic, Splunk, etc\nExpertise in with Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Cloud, and Splunk Enterprise Security\nExpertise as a consultant for clients, advising on technical solutions and participating in pre-sales and solution development\nEnterprise experience with Cloud Infrastructure, networking and system administration \nExperience in architecture leadership that brings together and integrates solutions across multiple vendors \nAbility to evaluate new technologies and provide internal training \nAbility to understand customer needs, define requirements, and design solutions \nAbility to develop and present architectural recommendations and implementation/ assessment services \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills \nExcellent presentation skills \nExtensive experience with Visio and PowerPoint \nStrong technical aptitude \nProvide technical leadership assuring quality, maximizing team output \nSelf-motivated \nCribl and Big Panda experience a plus \nExperience with automation and advanced configuration management tools are a
