People management responsibilities include training, planning and assigning daily work, conducting performance appraisals for hourly warehouse employees, addressing performance issues, and resolving problems.\nDuties/Responsibilities\nOversee all immediate departmental activities and carry out supervisory responsibilitiesin accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable laws.\n\nLead a team of warehouse associates, motivating them to achieve and maintain a high level ofproductivity and accuracy.\n\nIdentify staffing needs and delegate tasks assigning labor as receive-pick-pack-ship work-flowdictates\n\nResolve employee issues while ensuring positive employee relations and promote and enforceall company policies fairly and consistently.\n\nOversee any area of Warehouse Picking, Receiving, Packing, and Shipping of warehouse salesorders by setting expectations and meeting KPI.\n\nEffectively drive continuous and quality related improvements.Actively engage in project management responsibilities and support a wide range of\nWarehouse group projects.\n\nAnalyze and solve problems or assist other team members in finding solutions.\nReview warehouse schedules, material, and manpower to coordinate dailywarehouse activities to meet business objectives.\n\nInform assigned employees of warehouse and material constraints and coordinate withsupport groups to resolve problems affecting schedules.\n\nCommunicate with departmental stakeholders on vendor issues, material or picking delays, carrieror packaging issues, and inventory discrepancies.\n\nCollaborate with other departments, such as account coordinators and production staff, to ensure smooth operations.\nEnsure the rules and regulations of US export and import procedures are followed.\nDirect efforts toward the reduction of process variation while ensuring that warehouseproducts and services meet quality requirements.\n\nEnsure adherence to safety protocols and procedures, maintaining a safe working environment forall employees.\n\nHelp maintain and manage accurate warehouse inventory and receipt/picking records includingcycle count initiatives and complete stock inventory accuracy.\n\nMaintain and manage accurate WIP inventory and shipping records.\nIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.\nTrain new warehouse associates and provide ongoing coaching and development to the team.\nAddress departmental inquiries or requests and resolve any order fulfillment issues.\nAssist with planning and leading departmental and continuous improvement projects.\nAssist with troubleshooting and root cause identification for receiving, picking and shipping errorswhile driving corrective and preventative action initiatives.\n\nContributes to creating, improving, and training on SOPs and Dozuki training documentation.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained warehouse environment.\nLeading and assisting in 5s implementation and audits.\nManage duties assigned by Manager\nBackup Warehouse Associate I, II, III and Lead roles.\nExhibit and maintain strong attention to detail and the ability to follow step-by-step instructions.\nAbility to adjust and follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.\nContributes to the completing of projects on time, using project management software to managethe projects.\n\nPerform other related duties as required\nEducation and Experience\nMinimum Required - High school diploma and 3-5 years’ experience in a warehouse receiving,picking, shipping environment, preferably in a supervisory role\n\nPreferred - Associates Degree\nProven track record and ability to manage, train, and develop, coach, and mentor employees.\nAbility to resolve conflicts, meet deadlines, manage production activities and effectivelymulti-task in a fast paced environment\n\nKnowledge, Skills, Abilities\nAbility to read and write English, follow verbal instructions, and use simple math.\nStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.\nProficiency in warehouse management principles and best practices.\nExperience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Transportation ManagementSystems (TMS) preferred.\n\nStrong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills - Microsoft Office Experiencerequired, MS TEAMS experience preferred.\n\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nOperate an electric pallet jack (required) and Stand-Up Reach Truck (preferred).\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLAand other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative\nproductivity standards.\n\nAbility to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal,state, and local standards.\n\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
