This role involves conducting inspections, performing measurement and visual tests, documenting results, and communicating with production staff to maintain product quality and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.\nQuality Inspector Job Responsibilities:\nPerform visual and measurement tests and reject or return materials that do not meet quality standards.\nInspect in-process production by verifying specifications, performing tests, and communicating adjustments to operators and the production supervisor.\nApprove products by verifying specifications, using quality tools, and returning nonconforming items for rework.\nVerify completed rework, place questionable products on hold, and identify and report waste.\nDocument inspection results by completing reports, maintaining logs, and entering data into quality databases.\nMaintain measuring equipment by following operating and calibration procedures and reporting repair needs.\nMaintain a safe and healthy work environment by following company standards, procedures, and legal regulations.\nMaintain job knowledge by participating in training and reviewing technical publications.\nFollow the AHF Quality Control Inspector Training Manual and take responsibility for quality incidents in the assigned area.\nSupport quality and organizational goals by completing related tasks as needed.\nPerform other duties as assigned by AHF Management.\nQualifications\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nBasic math skills for measurements and calculations.\nBasic computer skills for data entry and quality system use.\nStrong attention to detail when inspecting materials and products.\nAnalytical skills to identify and evaluate quality issues.\nAbility to maintain accurate documentation and records.\nGood hand-eye coordination for using measurement and inspection tools.\nAbility to prepare and communicate clear inspection reports.\nEducation and Experience Requirements:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nOne to two years of experience as a Quality Inspector or in a related role.\nExperience using quality control methods such as Six Sigma preferred.\nExperience using measurement tools such as meters, gauges, calipers, and other inspection instruments.\nBasic computer experience for operating inspection equipment and recording data.\nAHF Products provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.\nAHF Products is a leading hard surface flooring manufacturer in the USA with a family of trusted brands serving the residential and commercial hardwood, tile, and vinyl flooring markets.
