Our client operates within a specialised industrial sector, delivering high-performance engineering solutions across the full equipment lifecycle.\n\nThis is a strong opportunity for a technically capable engineer looking to work within a dynamic, internationally connected environment.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou will form part of a skilled Engineering team, contributing to design, installation, maintenance, and optimisation projects. The role requires someone who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and confident working across both local and international engineering standards.\n\nDuties & Responsibilities\nEngineering Systems & Data Management\n\n Manage and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) using SAP and internal data systems\n\n Create and update item codes in line with internal standards\n\n Extract and analyse technical data to support cross-departmental needs\n\nCAD Design & Drafting\n\n Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor\n\n Work from general arrangements, site inspections, sketches, and specifications\n\n Maintain ISO 9001-aligned drawing standards\n\n Occasional use of SolidWorks\n\nMechanical Design & Calculations\n\n Perform load calculations for mechanical assemblies\n\n Prepare mechanical certification documentation\n\n Apply knowledge of tolerances and material specifications\n\n Review and approve technical drawings prior to manufacturing\n\nStakeholder Collaboration\n\n Engage with clients and internal teams to deliver practical engineering solutions\n\n Conduct site visits and provide technical assessments\n\n Coordinate with workshops and suppliers to ensure fabrication meets specifications\n\n Liaise with international engineering counterparts\n\nHSEQ Compliance\n\n Adhere to all HSEQ Management System requirements\n\n Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 85 of 1993)\n\n Support continuous improvement and NCR resolution\n\nDesired Experience & Qualification\n\n Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Sc. or B.Eng.)\n\n 3–5 years of experience in mechanical drafting and design\n\n Background in machine building, heavy equipment fabrication or repairs is advantageous\n\n Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor\n\n SAP experience beneficial\n\n Strong analytical and problem-solving skills\n\n Ability to work within both local and international engineering frameworks\n\n Good communication and interpersonal skills\n\nInterested?\nInterested?
