The role involves developing scalable backend services, integrating with banks, payment gateways, and third-party systems, and contributing to a DevOps-driven environment. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Java 8/17, Spring Boot, REST APIs, JPA, JMS, databases, and TDD practices.
