In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance applications using modern C++ techniques on Linux. You will work on challenging problems in multi-threading and distributed systems while leveraging best practices in software engineering to meet challenging performance and stability requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\n Design, implement, and optimize high-performance,soft real-time distributed systems in C++ in the Linux environment.\n Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features.\n Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to cultivate their software engineering skills.\n Requirements\nRequired Qualifications\n At least 5 years of experience in C++ software development working on competitive projects.\n Experience with C++17 standard and beyond.\n Experience with Modern C++ paradigms (RAII, move semantics, smart pointers, constexpr, future/promise etc.).\n Deep understanding of multi-threading programming, including synchronization primitives (mutexes, condition variables, atomics, etc.).\n Proficiency in designing and optimizing performance-critical applications in C++.\n Experience with troubleshooting complex issues related to concurrency and memory management.\n Knowledge of Linux systems and build tools (CMake, git, etc.).\n Fluent English communication skills.\n Solid team-working soft skills.\n Bonus Qualifications\n AI-augmented software development skills are a major plus (Copilot, Cursor, AI agent assistants).\n Familiarity with networking protocols and libraries (e.g. ZeroMQ).\n Exposure to performance profiling tools.\n Familiarity with C++20 is a plus.\n Benefits\n Be part of an international company that is at the forefront of financial technology innovation.\n Enjoy a very competitive compensation package including a bonus, based on transparent AI2C's profit sharing plan.\n Competitive salary (€2800 -
