Across our diverse markets, you will learn through meaningful work, collaborate with experienced colleagues and build practical skills as you turn fresh ideas into positive outcomes and a more sustainable future for our customers and communities.\nJoin us to explore new possibilities, grow through real experiences and start making an impact across Asia.\nAbout the Role\nReporting to the Manager/Assistant Manager - Data Control, this position is accountable for the processing & maintenance of investment Market Data, Master Data & Corporate Actions on the SAP FAM system to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the accounting of AIA’s invested assets.\nJob Description:\nPerform daily investment data processing in accordance with Business Process Manuals and applicable accounting policies & standards and ensure that all investment data are processed and maintained accurately, in a complete manner and on a timely basis.\nMaintain high quality of documentation for investment data processes and in accordance with Business Process Manuals\nAttend and respond to investment data enquiries from Group and Local Finance and Investment Operations teams, and other relevant stakeholders, satisfactorily and in a timely manner.\nSupport Group and Local Finance and Investment Operations teams, and other relevant stakeholders on daily investment data matters as well as projects and initiatives.\nAssess, recommend and implement improvements in Data Control processes and systems to improve effectiveness and efficiency of daily processing, including interdependencies with upstream/downstream processes and systems and incorporation of changes onto Business Process Manuals.\nJob Requirements:\nUniversity Degree in Accountancy or related fields.\nInternationally Recognized Accounting Qualification (ACCA, CFA, etc) will be an added advantage\nFresh graduates or 1-2 years investment operations experience in multi-national insurance, asset management and/or unit trust companies\nExperience in a shared services or similar environment providing investment operations and/or accounting services to external/internal stakeholders\nSpecific Business Knowledge:\nBasic knowledge of investment products (fixed income, equities, funds, structured products, asset-backed securities, derivatives money market etc) including both their investment characteristics and accounting treatments\nKnowledge of control environments in an investment operations and/or accounting environment\nExperience in investment accounting and/or operations systems (SAP FAM) and architecture\nProficiency in Bloomberg, Reuters or any other market data providers\nBuild a career with us as we help our customers and the community live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.\nYou must provide all requested information, including Personal Data, to be considered for this career opportunity.
