The position provides technical leadership across cloud operations, platform modernization, security, and resilience, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, governance standards, and industry best practices. It also oversees cloud service performance, availability, compliance, disaster recovery readiness, and cost optimization while supporting business initiatives and operational requirements to enable stable and efficient business operations.\nKey responsibilities:\nCloud Infrastructure Management\nPlan, design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure services across production, UAT, and development environments, with primary focus on Microsoft Azure.\nBuild and maintain cloud landing zones, network connectivity, identity integration and security controls.\nPerform performance tuning, capacity planning, monitoring, and operational improvement for cloud resources including virtual machines, Kubernetes, storage, networking, databases, and security services.\nMaintain cloud environments to meet agreed availability, performance, resilience, and service-level requirements.\nSupport incident, problem, change, capacity, and configuration management for cloud infrastructure services.\nMigration and Modernization\nSupport the migration of workloads from on-premises infrastructure to cloud platforms.\nAssess technical constraints, dependencies, risks, and non-functional requirements.\nRecommend appropriate cloud-native, platform, or infrastructure solutions based on business and technical needs.\nArchitecture and Technical Advisory\nAssess non-functional requirements such as security, reliability, scalability, performance, and availability.\nReview solution options and recommend the best approach to reduce risk and improve quality.\nProvide technical guidance and ensure infrastructure designs follow approved standards.\nEvaluate new cloud technologies and recommend improvements where relevant.\nFinOps and Cloud Optimization\nMonitor cloud usage, resource utilization, and costs.\nIdentify and implement cost optimization opportunities across cloud resources.\nSupport cloud budgeting, cost tracking, and governance activities.\nOperating System Administration\nManage and maintain cloud-based Windows and Linux servers.\nOversee patching, upgrades, security hardening, and vulnerability remediation activities.\nEnsure infrastructure reliability, security, performance, and operational readiness.\nSupport continuous improvement of server operations and platform stability.\nSFTP Service Management\nManage and maintain enterprise SFTP platforms and file transfer services.\nEnsure secure file transfer operations through effective access, encryption, and security controls.\nMonitor service performance and drive timely resolution of operational issues.\nRecommend and implement improvements to enhance service reliability, security, and efficiency.\nBackup and Recovery Management\nManage backup and recovery solutions to ensure data protection and business continuity.\nEnsure backup policies and recovery plans meet business and compliance requirements.\nOversee backup validation and recovery testing activities.\nDrive resolution of backup and recovery issues and recommend service improvements.\nDisaster Recovery (DR) Support\nSupport disaster recovery planning, testing, and readiness activities for cloud workloads.\nEnsure recovery procedures are effective and meet recovery objectives (RTO/RPO).\nCoordinate DR drills, failover testing, and issue remediation activities.\nRecommend improvements to strengthen disaster recovery capabilities and resilience.\nProject Delivery & Cloud Initiatives\nLead and support cloud projects, including deployment, migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives.\nCollaborate with application, security, network, and business teams to deliver successful outcomes.\nProvide input to project planning, solution reviews, and implementation activities.\nIdentify risks, recommend improvements, and ensure solutions align with business and technology standards.\nGovernance, Compliance & Documentation\nMaintain infrastructure documentation, standards, and operational procedures.\nEnsure cloud environments comply with security, governance, and operational requirements.\nSupport audit, compliance, and risk management activities.\nEstablish and enforce cloud infrastructure standards and best practices.\nQualifications:\nMinimum of Bachelor Degree (S1) Degree in Technical/Information System/Other related educations\nMinimum 10 years of experience in IT Infrastructure; experience in the financial services industry is an advantage.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in Business Continuity (BC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) planning, development, implementation, and testing.\nCertifications/licenses (are an advantage):\nCloud architecture Certification\nTechnical certification (e.g. ITSM, Cisco, IBM, Microsoft)\nBusiness certification (e.g. FLMI from LOMA)\nSpecial skills:\nProven experience in managing and operating multi-platform infrastructure, including cloud environments, Windows and Linux servers, storage systems, networking, SFTP services, and other enterprise IT technologies to support business requirements.\nStrong expertise in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-scale cloud solutions across Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) models.\nHands-on experience in cloud operations, including infrastructure monitoring, capacity planning, patch management, backup and recovery management, disaster recovery (DR) support, and security compliance.\nExperience in planning, executing, and validating backup restoration tests and disaster recovery drills to ensure business continuity and recovery readiness.\nCustomer-focused mindset with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across business and technical teams.\nAbility to develop, implement, and continuously improve IT operational policies, procedures, standards, and governance frameworks to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.\nStrong leadership and team management capabilities, including resource planning, workload allocation, performance monitoring, knowledge sharing, and mentoring team members.\nGood understanding of Project Management, IT Service Management (ITSM), Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).\nFamiliarity with business processes and regulatory requirements within the Life Insurance industry is an advantage.\nStrong verbal and written English communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nExcellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset and the capability to think creatively to deliver innovative solutions.\nExperience with cloud governance, security best practices, automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud cost optimization is highly desirable.\nRelevant cloud certifications such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) are preferred.\nBuild a career with us as we help our customers and the community live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.\nYou must provide all requested information, including Personal Data, to be considered for this career opportunity.
