You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with accepted accounting standards, AIA Group reporting policy, and statutory and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:\nInternal Finance:\nAssist in preparing monthly financial reports and billing workings, and support month-end closing activities\n\nPerform transaction analysis and support accounting tasks, including audit and tax data preparation\n\nMaintain contract repository and ensure proper filing of contractual documents\n\nFinance Operations:\nSupport contract upload processes to Ariba from the risk management system\n\nAssist in purchase order issuance, invoice review, and manual invoice uploads\n\nFollow through the payment process, including goods receipt, invoice submission, and reconciliation\n\nProvide support for contract novation projects as required\n\nFinance Operations (Business Analysis):\nSupport fund vehicle operations and reporting analysis, including day-to-day activities and monthly submissions\n\nMaintain comprehensive documentation of workflows, assumptions, and reporting methodologies to ensure governance and audit readiness\n\nProvide backup support during peak periods, handle ad-hoc requests, and ensure clear documentation of deliverables and timelines for continuity and timely completion\n\nInvestment Accounting:\nPerform daily investment operations, including journal postings, corporate actions, and bank/custodian reconciliations\n\nHandle ad hoc investment transfers in SAP FAM with proper recording and reconciliation\n\nSupport period-end processes by validating investment records and distributing reports to finance teams\n\nTrack tasks end-to-end through completion, review, and proper documentation/filing\n\nRecord to Report:\nAssist with inter-company tasks including generating debit notes (DN) in SAP, preparing monthly matching and aging reports, and investigating variances\n\nSupport fixed asset activities such as additions/disposals and preparation of monthly asset listings\n\nPerform bank reconciliations by clearing open items and preparing reconciliation reports\n\nAssist in balance sheet reconciliations for selected accounts and support month-end closing through journal voucher preparation and posting\n\nProcure-to-Pay (P2P) - Account Payable: \nProcess invoices in Ariba/SAP from 3-way matching to payment, ensuring accurate and timely posting\n\nHandle staff claims by verifying supporting documents and entitlements for timely disbursement\n\nSupport monthly analysis reporting and perform ad hoc duties as assigned to meet business needs\n\nProcure-to-Pay (P2P) - Procurement Support Operations: \nMaintain vendor master data in SAP Ariba, handle VMDM enquiries, and liaise with FICO teams to ensure compliance with business requirements\n\nSupport supplier enablement on Ariba Network, including supplier communication, data setup, and coordination with internal stakeholders and Ariba teams\n\nAssist with contract lifecycle management (CLM) activities and ensure proper documentation, while maintaining timely updates in ServiceNow (SNOW) ticketing system\n\nGroup Treasury Operations:\nAssist in cashflow forecasting, liquidity reporting (LAR), and monitoring bank balances across entities\n\nPerform liquidity and variance analysis, ensuring data accuracy and validation while liaising with stakeholders\n\nSupport treasury governance, documentation, and audit-related activities\n\nNote: There are several internship positions available across various departments.
