AKS Engineer role focuses on deploying, operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting containerized applications on Azure while ensuring high availability, security, and performance.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:\nWe are looking for a skilled AKS Engineer / Administrator with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in managing and supporting Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments. The role focuses on deploying, operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting containerized applications on Azure while ensuring high availability, security, and performance.\nKey Responsibilities - AKS & Kubernetes Administration\nDeploy, configure, and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.\nAdminister Kubernetes resources such as pods, deployments, services, namespaces, config maps, and secrets.\nMonitor cluster health, workloads, and node performance.\nTroubleshoot Kubernetes and application-related issues.\nAzure Cloud Operations\nWork with Azure services such as Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Azure Storage.\nSupport scaling, upgrades, and patching of AKS clusters.\nAssist with cloud resource optimization and cost management.\nSecurity & Networking\nApply AKS security best practices including RBAC, network policies, and secrets management.\nSupport ingress controller configuration and certificate management.\nCoordinate with security teams on access controls and compliance.\nMonitoring & Documentation\nConfigure monitoring and logging using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Kubernetes-native tools.\nMaintain operational documentation, runbooks, and SOPs.\nAssist with incident resolution and root cause analysis.\nAdditional:\nManage and administer the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance.\nAnalyze existing operational standards, processes, and/or governance to identify and implement improvements.\nSupport cloud adoption of applications as they are being transformed and/or modernized.\nParticipate in an on-call rotation to address and resolve technical escalations.\nTroubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues and Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders.\nProvide technical support and guidance.\nExperience:\n2-3 years of experience working with Kubernetes and Azure cloud services.\nHands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).\nGood understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals and container concepts.\nGood knowledge of Linux administration and networking concepts.\nFamiliarity with scripting (Shell/Bash or PowerShell).\nSkills:\nGood problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment.\nGood communication and documentation skills.\nWillingness to learn and adapt to cloud-native technologies.\nBuild a career with us as we help our customers and the community live healthier, longer, better lives.\nYou must provide all requested information, including Personal Data, to be considered for this career opportunity.
