Objective:\nWith respect to multiple technology knowledge \nEnsures IT service availability and minimises the AIA's business impact of IT service outages through the effective management.\nContributes performance as measured by the technology related KPIs and SLAs (utilisation, availability, response times etc.) year on year.\n\nRoles and Responsibilities\nStrategic Planning and Leadership:\nImplement the approved strategy for AS/400 OS support, aligned with organizational goals.\nWork with the team to ensure high performance and operational efficiency.\n\nAS/400 OS Management: \nOversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of AS/400 operating system across the organization.\nEnsure the stability, security, and performance of AS/400 servers and endpoints.\n\nIncident & Problem Managements:\nAct as an escalation point for complex AS/400 OS-related issues and ensure timely resolution.\nConduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measure.\n\nPatch & Update Management:\nDevelop and enforce patch management policies to ensure all AS/400 systems are up-to-date and secure.\nCoordinate with security teams to address vulnerabilities and apply necessary updates.\n\nPerformance Monitoring and Optimization:\nMonitor the performance of AS/400 systems, analyze trends, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.\nPrepare and present regular reports on AS/400 OS support operations, compliance, and risk management to senior leadership.\n\nVendor & Stakeholder Management: \nCollaborate with vendors and internal stakeholder to evaluate, select, and implement AS/400 OS-related tools and technologies.\nManage relationships with third-party service providers and ensure SLAs are met.\n\nBudget & Resource Management:\nManage related budget.\nAllocate resources effectively to meet project deadline and organizational goals.\n\nMinimum Job Requirements:\nRelevant Experience: \n7+ years of relevant experience in which at least 3 years in managerial position with regional coverage.\nHands on experience on position related technical components.\nOR\nAn equivalent combination of qualifications and relevant experience.\n\nEducation: \nBachelor's degree holder of unviersity on Information Technology or related discipline\n\nTechnical Skills:\nExtensive knowledge IBM AS/400 (iSeries) operating systems including OS/AS400 and IBM i.\nStrong understanding of AS/400 architecture, CL programming, RPG, DB2, and system administration tools.\nExperience with modernization and integration of AS/400 systems with cloud or hybrid environment is a plus.\nRelevant certifications such as IBM Certified System Administrator – AS/400 or equivalent is highly
