Collaborating with experienced underwriters, medical professionals, and reinsurers, you contribute to continuous improvement, share knowledge with colleagues, and grow your expertise in a supportive and values-driven environment.\nYour Impact\nAssess medical and financial information to make sound, fair underwriting decisions that balance customer needs with risk outcomes\nBuild trusted relationships with advisers, customers, and internal stakeholders through responsive, clear, and professional communication\nExplain underwriting decisions confidently to support understanding, transparency, and policy conversion\nApply underwriting guidelines, authority limits, and reinsurance requirements consistently to maintain quality and compliance standards\nIdentify potential non-disclosures and take appropriate action to protect the integrity of underwriting decisions\nSupport the development of colleagues by sharing knowledge, encouraging collaboration, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives\nYour Capabilities\nYou have 3+ years of experience in medical and financial underwriting and use sound judgement to assess risk and determine appropriate terms\nYou bring strong critical thinking skills and analyse complex information from multiple sources to make balanced decisions\nYou are a confident communicator and presenter, able to engage audiences and develop strong, productive stakeholder relationships\nYou bring a customer-focused mindset and consistently deliver high-quality outcomes while managing risk effectively\nYou have strong attention to detail and maintain accurate documentation across systems and underwriting platforms\nYou may also have a relevant qualification and experience contributing to process improvements that enhance efficiency and service quality\nYour Life at AIA\nAt AIA, your experience matters, and so does your impact.
