You will understand application requirements and architecture, then build test strategies that cover both functional behaviourand performance. Your work will include API automation using Java and RestAssured, data validation, performance testing with tools like JMeter, and monitoring application health after release. Success means shipping reliable, high-performing applications that help our teams deliver faster. \n\nHow you'll make an impact: \nRequirements understanding & test strategy \nUnderstand requirements, design, and architecture of Platform applications and data-processing solutions that power most AiDASH applications. \nCoverage & test design \nAnalyze functional and non-functional requirements from a coverage and impact perspective. \nDesign effective, efficient test cases and trace them to acceptance criteria. \nAPI & framework automation \nWrite robust, maintainable API automation in Java using rest-assured, plus supporting tools/scripts that improve test efficiency. \nContribute to automation framework enhancements driven by project needs. \nData validation across the stack \nPerform data validation across APIs, databases (Postgres, MongoDB), and outputs of data-processing solutions. \nCross-layer debugging \nDebug issues across application and infrastructure layers - not only API or UI (services, queues, DBs, K8s, AWS, pipeline outputs). \nPerformance testing \nConduct performance testing and benchmarking using tools such as JMeter. \nTest data & context switching \nPrepare test data for QA validations by coordinating across teams and ramping quickly across contexts. \nCI/CD & reporting \nBuild and maintain automation pipelines with Jenkins (or equivalent) and report with Allure. \nProduction / ops quality \nMonitor post-production health and alerts; work with Kubernetes and AWS to check service health and logs. \nDefect lifecycle & collaboration \nDocument and manage defects end-to-end, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with Test and Development to resolve issues. \nBeyond traditional STLC execution, you will design, operate, and continuously improve agentic AI workflows that guide discovery, test planning, automation authoring, execution, triage, reporting, and production validation so quality is consistent, auditable, and faster without skipping governance \n\nWhat we're looking for: \nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed university with good academic results is preferred \nHands-on experience testing backend applications, with strong skills in API testing and data validation testing \nHands-on experience in API automation using Java and RestAssured, and/or Python scripting, with a good understanding of test frameworks \nExperience in performance testing using tools like JMeter \nHands-on experience with databases like Postgres and MongoDB, and writing queries for data validation \nKnowledge of AWS services and experience working with Kubernetes clusters for checking service health and logs \nUnderstanding of queues and caching \nStrong attention to detail and curiosity to understand the internal workings of software \nGood analytical skills and decision making ability, with the ability to work in a team as well as an individual \nAbility to work under pressure and maintain deadlines \nExcellent verbal and written communication skills \nGood to have: gRPC basics, Airflow DAGs, web application testing and automation using Selenium/Playwright, knowledge of testing and validating ML/AI based applications, and use of AI tools and editors for increased velocity of work \nWe are proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
