The Act mandates NAC to coordinate and provide leadership for the implementation of the National response to HIV and AIDS in Malawi.\nAn opportunity has arisen to engage qualified persons of Malawian origin to fill vacant positions tenable at NAC Office in Lilongwe.\nNAC, therefore, invites applications from suitable candidates to fill the positions of:\nDRIVER: 3 positions – Permanent\n\nGrade: N7\n\nReporting to: Assistant Administration Officer\nPurpose of the job:\nTo drive NAC vehicles as and when required.\nDuties and Key Responsibilities\nDriving NAC’s vehicles as directed;\nEnsuring that the vehicles are clean, secure and in good running condition at all times;\nMaintaining an up to date vehicle log book;\nReporting service dates for vehicles;\nEnsuring the vehicle has valid COF and insurance\nMinimum Academic Qualification and Experience\nMalawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).\nValid Driving Licence\nDefensive Driving Certificate.\nProfessional Drivers Permit\nPerson Specification\nAbility to communicate effectively in English, both oral and written.\nShould be physically fit of sober habits and good interpersonal skills.\nWillingness to travel widely and work odd hours.\nHave good eyesight.\nCourteous to passengers and other members of the public.\nSmart and presentable.\nMethod of Application\nEligible candidates meeting the above requirements should submit their application with up to date detailed CV indicating names of three traceable referees, certified copies of academic and professional certificates.
