Our Finance team plays an essential role inmaintaininga healthy balance sheet at AIG. AIG’sSummerInterns are immersed in the day-to-day operations of a fast-moving, global insurance company.During the9-week program,you will gain valuable, hands-on experience and insurance industry knowledge,workingwith leaders on dynamic projects, withplenty ofopportunity for challenges,learningand achievement.

SummerInterns join one of ourkeybusinessteams, whichoffersa unique opportunity to obtain core technical knowledge and professional skills in a diverse environment. In addition tomeaningful on-the-job experiences,interns will join instructor-led masterclasses,hear directly from seniorleaders, and build meaningful connections through mentoring circles, networkingeventsand volunteering.

Following completion ofthe internship program, interns may be considered for a role in the location where they completed their internship, with the Analyst program beginning in July 2028.

Responsibilities

The Finance function consists of a variety of teams with an array of responsibilities, including Financial Planning and Analysis, Accounting & Controllership, Investor Relations, Tax, Operations, Internal Audit, Investments, Data Management, and Treasury.

Example Finance responsibilities may include:

• Provide key reporting and analytics support, review business performance, driveplanningand forecasting efforts, and build operating budgets
• Perform controllership activities that deliver required AIGconsolidatedfinancial reporting, provide tax advisory, planning, accounting, compliance, and analytics for all types of taxes
• Improvefinancial managementsystems and information, contribute to process improvement or savings initiatives, andparticipatein finance projects
• Develop and update reports on capital, forecast, cash flows, funding and liquidity, review business metrics and perform competitive intelligence

Afterinitialorientation and training, summer interns will join one of our finance teams, which offer a unique opportunity to obtain core technical knowledge and professional skills in a diverse and global environment. Interns will also complete Finance specific orientation and training.In addition to the experience acquired on the job, summer internshave the opportunity tohear directly from senior management, participate in roundtable discussions with analysts and program alumni,deliver presentations,engage in team building activities,and attend networking receptions.

Minimum Qualifications

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’sdegree to be received no later than June 2028 (unofficial transcriptrequiredupon application).

• Finance or Accounting.

Program Requirements

• Available for the complete Summer Internship Program from June 7 through August 6, 2027.

• Summer Intern positions are in-person opportunities, requiring interns to work in the office at least four days per week.

Core Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment.

• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.

• Abilityto collaborate effectively, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated interest in corporate finance and a rotational program environment.

• Relevant coursework, internship, or other experience in areas such as Financial Planning and Analysis, Accounting & Controllership, Investor Relations, Tax, Operations, Internal Audit, Investments, Data Management, and Treasury.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and an interest in using data and financial information to support business decisions.

• Demonstrated academic achievement and involvement in extracurricular, leadership, or professional activities.

• Intellecually curious, personable, collaborative, and a self-starter.

• Enthusiastic about the Insurance industry

For applicants in Colorado, Jersey City, and New YorkCitythe hourly pay range for this position is$25.03 - $33.37.
