Reporting to the Broker & Market Leader, this role is responsible for managing strategic relationships with up to five key retail brokers and serving as a core member of a national broker coverage team. The Broker Director collaborates closely with internal partners and broker counterparts to deliver insights, deepen engagement, and accelerate growth.\nHow You Will Make an Impact\nDrive profitable growth, retention, and optimal portfolio mix with assigned brokers.\n\nLead execution of local market strategies aligned with national broker commitments.\n\nMaximize value from broker consulting and data services to generate actionable insights.\n\nBuild and sustain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.\n\nPartner with Distribution, Product, Business Unit, and International teams to identify opportunities, target accounts, and execute global business plans.\n\nDevelop and execute growth strategies for priority products in partnership with Product and Distribution leadership.\n\nEnsure alignment with broker agreements, strategies, and KPIs.\n\nConduct regular broker and leadership meetings to review results and adjust strategies as needed.\n\nTravel to broker offices to support relationship management and execution, based on business needs.\n\nWhat You’ll Need to Succeed\nStrong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.\n\nProven ability to lead change and drive innovation.\n\nStrong business acumen with a data-driven, process-oriented mindset.\n\nAbility to manage complex projects and sensitive information with professionalism.\n\nTechnical expertise to understand and articulate product strategies and differentiators.\n\n5+ years of experience in broker or carrier relationship management, underwriting, or commercial insurance broking (preferred).\n\nAdaptability and alignment with AIG’s learn-it-all culture.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including engagement with senior leadership.\n\nMobility\nTravel to U.S. locations (~20-30%)\n\nReady to make a bigger impact?
