This individual will work closely with Business and Technical teams to turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be leveraged to make sound business decisions. Business Analysts must understand how data is turned into information and knowledge and how that knowledge supports and enables key business processes.\nEssential to be able to build an understanding of the business at a level of detail to identify and address critical issues\nWork with clients to determine business requirements priorities, define key performance indicators (KPI), and support defining our ongoing BI & Data Warehouse strategy\nEngage business and development teams to design, and document dashboards, alerts, and reports\nAccountable for providing project leadership including facilitating requirements gathering and presenting findings to all levels of management\nConducting analysis of functional business processes and functional business requirements and drive the development of user stories as a member of an Agile Scrum Team\nEducate and train clients to use data as an analytical tool, displaying the information as content for the purpose of analysis with the option to explore\nInfluence is limited to area of specialization and unit/team\nQualifications:\nBA/BS Degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and progressive experience\n5+ Years of Business Data Analyst Experience\nExcellent interpersonal skills and organizational skills with the ability to work independently, prioritize and manage multiple assignments\nStrong critical thinking & problem-solving competency with the ability to research complex data-oriented problems\nProactive and results-driven with a positive can-do attitude\nExcels in a team environment (distributed)\nSkills and Experience:\nCommercial P&C Insurance and Financial principles preferred.\nExperience working on an Agile team as a BA/PO\nData profiling\nStrong SQL skills\nProficient in Word, MS Excel and Visio\nTechnical experience with BI Tools and Python is a plus.\nExposure to APIs and understanding of XML and JSON language preferred.\nExposure to AI\nReady to set new industry standards?
