Working across diverse and complex initiatives, you’ll play a key role in taking our data products to the next level, bringing fresh thinking and new perspectives to raise the bar on what we deliver and the value we create for the business.\nSome of the responsibilities include:\nTake ownership and responsibility of all data products at Talbot\nDefine and own the Data product strategy, value proposition, and roadmap aligned to business goals\nPartner with senior stakeholders in Underwriting and other business functions to shape data solutions that will deliver measurable business outcomes\nSets standards, prioritization criteria, and governance expectations. Prioritise and drive delivery through collaboration with delivery partners and cross-functional teams (engineering, architecture, data governance, BAU)\nLead/Partner with Data Product Owners to translate strategy into prioritized backlogs, acceptance criteria, and release plans\nEstablish data product SLAs and KPIs covering data quality, timeliness, completeness, adoption, and business impact\nOwn stakeholder communication, planning and change management\nLead user engagement and continuously improve the product through feedback, usage analytics, training and post-implementation reviews\nDrive adoption of analytics products through targeted communications, champion networks, and embedded business support\nAdopt AI & automation to enhance and support data product strategy and delivery\nCollaborate closely with the development team to translate business needs into data product changes and ensure solutions meet agreed business requirements\nDay-to-day line management for team members, including objective setting, performance reviews, coaching and hiring support where needed\nDefine a clear data products controls & monitoring framework to ensure Data products are working as expected in Production\nParticipate in the Service Delivery Governance reviews\nWhat you’ll need to succeed:\nExtensive data product management experience within insurance\nLloyds market experience highly desirable\nStrong stakeholder management skills\nProblem solving skills\nStrong communicator (verbal and written)\nStrong data experience with the ability to come up with data solutions\nDate warehouse and reporting experience\nStrong technical and data literacy\nAt AIG, we value in-person collaboration as a vital part of our culture, which is why we ask our team members to be primarily in the office.
