This role is critical to the design, engineering, modernization, and operational stability of a large-scale global network backbone supporting both on-premises and cloud environments.\nThe ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience across core routing and switching, cloud networking, F5 application delivery technologies, hybrid connectivity, and large-scale enterprise network design. This individual will play a key role in driving network modernization initiatives, enhancing resiliency and scalability, and supporting critical business services across a global infrastructure footprint.\nThis position requires a senior-level engineer who can operate both strategically and tactically leading large initiatives, troubleshooting high-impact issues, and collaborating across infrastructure, security, cloud, and application teams.\nWhat you'll need to succeed\nLead engineering in enterprise core network and cloud networking environments across on-premises and cloud platforms.\n\nDesign and implement scalable, resilient, and secure network and traffic management solutions supporting enterprise applications and services.\n\nEngineer and support core routing and switching infrastructure.\n\nEngineer and support cloud networking architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP.\n\nEngineer and support F5 BIG-IP technologies (LTM, GTM/DNS, ASM, APM preferred).\n\nEngineer and support hybrid cloud and data center interconnectivity solutions.\n\nServe as the senior technical lead for core network, cloud connectivity, and application delivery infrastructure initiatives.\n\nPartner closely with network engineering, cloud engineering, cybersecurity, application teams, and vendors to deliver integrated solutions.\n\nProvide expert-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex production incidents and performance issues.\n\nAutomate operational tasks and infrastructure workflows using scripting and infrastructure-as-code methodologies where applicable.\n\nEvaluate emerging technologies and recommend strategic improvements to enhance reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency.\n\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on resiliency, automation, observability, and service optimization.\n\nMentor operational engineers and provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams.\n\nManage multiple concurrent projects from design through implementation and operational transition.\n\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.\n\n10+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering with deep expertise in core networking, cloud networking, application delivery infrastructure, hybrid cloud connectivity, and enterprise backbone architectures.\n\nF5 certifications preferred.\n\nHands-on experience with AppViewX and enterprise load balancer management platforms.\n\nExperience with Prisma SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) technologies and cloud networking platforms such as Alkira is considered a strong advantage.\n\nExposure to Kubernetes ingress controllers, container networking, and modern application connectivity architectures.\n\nWorking knowledge of network monitoring, telemetry, and observability platforms.\n\nExperience supporting large enterprise or financial services environments preferred.\n\nAdvanced hands-on expertise in enterprise routing and switching technologies.\n\nStrong cloud networking experience across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.\n\nDeep expertise with F5 BIG-IP platforms, including LTM (required) and GTM/DNS (preferred).\n\nStrong understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, SSL/TLS, routing, and switching technologies.\n\nStrong knowledge of high availability, resiliency, and disaster recovery network architectures.\n\nStrong understanding of network segmentation, security frameworks, and enterprise security best practices.\n\nExperience designing and supporting hybrid connectivity architectures including VPN, AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, and cloud interconnect technologies.\n\nProven track record designing, implementing, and supporting highly available enterprise network infrastructures at scale.\n\nExperience with infrastructure automation and scripting tools such as Ansible, Python, Terraform, and REST APIs.\n\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues in high-pressure environments.\n\nExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.\n\nAbility to work independently while effectively partnering with technical and business teams.\n\nStrong project delivery, documentation, and organizational skills.\n\nResults-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and urgency.\n\nReady to step up to new challenges?
