The main focus will be within the Risk Managed area of the Portfolio which captures large and complex clients who tailor coverage limits, deductibles and risk-engineering services to match the company's specific risk appetite.\nHow you'll make an impact:\nEnsure that AIG procedures are consistently implemented.\nMaintain AIG standards and service levels.\nPrepare bespoke policy documentation.\nMaintain focus on industry practices, developments and pricing.\nProduce accurate and timely management information for senior management.\nUnderwrite and service risks to an acceptable AIG standard.\nDevelop a profitable book of business through a selection of brokers.\nMake informed underwriting decisions within the authority delegated.\nAssist less experienced underwriters in the team and support training and development.\nProduce files for Self-Audits to the agreed AIG Casualty standards.\nWhat you'll need to succeed:\nIdeally ACII qualified or working towards (or equivalent).\nExcellent knowledge of Casualty underwriting principles and practice.\nExcellent knowledge of Liability products.\nProficient knowledge of key regulatory requirements.\nProven general underwriting experience, preferably in Casualty lines.\nExcellent risk analysis and technical skills.\nAbility to build relationships with brokers and senior management.\nReady to take the next step in your career?
