The existing diversity of the business portfolio demands from the analice claims team role specialized expertise in the different business areas. The autoappraisal team team works with the business to support a wide array of products and offerings, they process payments to suppliers and insured parties, and the team leader plays a key role in guiding the team to achieve its goals.\nAbout the role\nWhat you need to know:\nLead an appraisal team, focused on providing excellent service to insured parties and clients, work as part of a team, constantly motivating the personnel under your supervision, develop strategies to achieve desired service levels (NPS), define goals aligned with the department's objectives, and encourage your team to meet them.\nYour contribution at AIG\nSuccessfully leading a team of appraisal´s and body shops partnets, maintaining performance within metrics, and being responsible for 250 (estimation damages) claims per month.\nDuties and Responsibilities\n1. Functional Responsibilities:\nManage the allocation of claims within their team of appraisal´s\nProvide a technical referral point for team members and manage performance,\nKeep the appraisal Manager advised of key Complex loss developments and wider Complex trends.\nExecute strategic initiatives within their appraisal team\nEnsure Complex ‘Best Practice’ is maintained within their appraisal team\nDrive performance through required criteria\nEnsure claims are accurately assessed and proactively reserved within agreed service levels\nEmbed use of balance scorecard/KPIs within team\n2. Accountabilities:\nTeam performance\nTeam professional and technical development\nTeam communication\nTeam compliance\nEffective resolution of claims handled by team adjusters\nAccurate financial control of claims in estimation damage\nMitigation of indemnity and expense spend for Complex claims within their team\nPerformance manage the team to maximise best practice compliance and minimise lost economic opportunity within appraisal claims\nPersonal Development / Succession Planning for individuals within the Complex team.\nManaging compliance with governance standards and regulatory requirements within the Complex team.\nEffective communication to all relevant stakeholders.\n3. Leadership Skills\nPeople and team management experience, including the proven ability to effectively manage team members\nAbility to positively influence, in a multi-cultural environment, stakeholders at every level both internally & externally\nHighly effective communicator (written, verbal, presentation, training)\nAbility to deliver strategic directives internally while also marketing AIG claims expertise externally.\nIdentify and address performance issues within the team and body shops.\n4.
