The organization ensures we operate as one globally consistent business delivering end-to-end services locally that contribute to our customers’ and AIG’s success.\nHow you will create an impact\nThe Operations Underwriting Support team provides support to underwriters across the business in the administration and servicing of commercial lines policies. The role will report directly to the Head of Operations Support.\nKey accountabilities will include but not limited to:\nYou will be working closely with underwriters across multiple profit centres, as well as other internal teams and outsourced service providers, supporting the quotation, bind and issuance processes across the full policy lifecycle\n\nYou will be the key contact onshore and become our SME to support the policy lifecycle\n\nYou will interact with our external customers chasing up and/or querying closings\n\nYou will liaise with internal collections teams to follow up on unallocated cash queries\n\nYou will ensure adherence to internal governance and compliance procedures, policies and guidelines.\n\nYou will also participate in operational audits, disaster recovery and business continuity exercises, when required.\n\nWhat you’ll need to succeed\nExperience as an underwriting associate in general insurance\n\nExposure to commercial lines products would be a distinct advantage\n\nAbility to anticipate client (internal and external) needs and act proactively\n\nSolid MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint\n\nProven ability to work on multiple issues concurrently, delivering in accordance with customer expectations.\n\nExcellent stakeholder management skills\n\nExcellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.\n\nExcellent problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills\n\nAble to work collaboratively with a broad range of constituencies and diverse groups\n\nSolid relationship management skills\n\nReady to make a bigger impact?
