Build things that matter.\nWe’re looking for a hands-on Field Marketing Manager to help build Aikido’s presence across the developer and security communities.\nThis role is focused on driving pipeline and awareness through events, community engagement, and regional campaigns. You’ll work closely with sales, partnerships, and marketing to plan and execute programs that connect Aikido with developers, security leaders, and startup teams.\nThis is a great role for someone who enjoys owning events end-to-end, building relationships in the local tech ecosystem, and turning community engagement into real pipeline.\nMust be local to San Francisco Bay or surrounding area\nOwn Regional Events & Programs\nPlan and run field marketing events including meetups, dinners, roundtables, and developer-focused gatherings\n\nManage Aikido’s presence at industry conferences and security events (e.g., Black Hat, RSA, DevOps events)\n\nCoordinate logistics, speakers, content, and follow-up with the sales team\n\nDrive Pipeline Through Events\nWork closely with the sales team to create events that generate qualified pipeline\n\nSupport account-based marketing campaigns in key territories\n\nTrack event performance and ensure strong follow-up and conversion\n\nBuild Community in the Developer Ecosystem\nPartner with developer communities, startup hubs, and security meetups\n\nIdentify opportunities to get Aikido in front of developers and security teams\n\nSupport developer advocates and partners at community events\n\nPartner with Sales and Partnerships\nCollaborate with Account Executives and partnerships teams to identify target accounts and opportunities\n\nSupport partner-led events and joint campaigns with ecosystem partners\n\nHelp create experiences that move prospects through the pipeline\n\nHelp Grow Aikido’s Brand\nBring Aikido’s “no-BS security” voice to events and community programs\n\nWork with the marketing team to turn events into content, social engagement, and brand moments\n\nShare feedback from the field to help shape messaging and campaigns\n\nRequirements\n4-7 years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, or community marketing\n\nExperience supporting B2B SaaS, developer tools, or cybersecurity products\n\nComfortable running events from concept to execution\n\nStrong collaboration with sales teams and pipeline-driven marketing programs\n\nExperience managing conferences, meetups, and regional marketing programs\n\nOrganized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment\n\nBonus if you have:\nExperience in developer tooling, DevOps, or cybersecurity\n\nExisting relationships in the Bay Area startup or developer community\n\nExperience running events for technical audiences\n\nWhat you can expect\nShort decision lines.
