Campus Supervisors supervise play activities; enforce school rules; settle pupil disputes; maintain discipline and compliance with school and District rules and procedures. Must be available to work Saturdays.\nREPRESENTATIVE DUTIES: (Incumbents may perform any combination of the essential functions shown below. This position description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, knowledge, or abilities associated with this classification, but is intended to reflect the principle job elements accurately.)\nESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:\nMonitor and/or supervise children as assigned. \nModel positive behavior and communication, promoting courtesy in all interactions. \nHandle disciplinary cases. Encourage appropriate conflict resolution techniques. \n Prevent or break up student conflicts or fights. \nComplete or assist with incident reports as necessary. \nEncourage children to eat during nutrition and lunch.\nSeat and dismiss children from the cafeteria and/or eating areas. \nMaintain a quiet and pleasant atmosphere in the lunch areas.\nMay wipe tables, benches in the cafeteria and/or outside lunch areas. \nAssist cafeteria workers as assigned. \nIssue approved equipment for lunchtime activities; maintain order in games and play activities. \nOpen and close facilities for outdoor user groups. Escort and direct authorized visitors to their destination; provide general information and assistance.\nPrevent unauthorized personnel on school grounds. Notify the Head of Schools or designee immediately of any suspicious or unsafe conditions on campus. \nEscort students to and from administrative offices as needed. \nMaintain traffic control in parking areas as assigned. \nWork with individual students to enhance positive behavior. Under guidance or instruction, may monitor behavior goals for students. \nAssist in fostering an environment that stimulates the growth of desirable social, emotional, and health habits. \nLead safety protocols at drop off and pick up times.\nEscort students to and from classrooms and cars as needed.\nOther duties as assigned \nQualifications\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh School graduate or equivalent\nValid California driver’s license\nFingerprinting and TB test required\nKNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:\nStudent guidance principles and practices.\nProcedures and techniques involved in supervising and disciplining students.\nRecord-keeping techniques.\nAbility to meet the driving and transportation requirements.\nSecurity patrol tactics.\nBasic methods of individual and group supervision.\nCommunicate effectively with students, staff, and public.\nPatrol and monitor an assigned campus to maintain order and security.\nAssure student compliance with school and District policies and regulations.\nPerform duties with patience, tact, and good judgment and within established guidelines.\nIdentify campus violations and inappropriate behavior.\nRead, interpret, and follow rules regulations, policies, and procedures.\nWork confidentially with discretion.\nUnderstand the needs of students of a variety of ages and interests.\nLearn the procedures, functions, and
