This is a hybrid position, with an onsite requirement of 3 days per week.\nWhat You'll Do\nDesign, develop, document, test, debug, and maintain software applications.\nDevelop backend services and APIs using Python, including application logic, data processing, and automation.\nDevelop modern web-based user interfaces using JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks.\nDesign and develop software to support CNO capabilities.\nApply knowledge of software security concepts, networking, and system architecture to software development and analysis.\nExperience in software static and dynamic analysis to identify vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and unexpected behaviors.\nKnowledge in debugging applications and low-level software using appropriate debugging and analysis tools.\nSet up, configure, and use virtualized infrastructure for software development, testing, analysis, and debugging.\nCollaborate with engineers to develop, test, and integrate software and CNO capabilities.\nEducation / Experience / Skillset Required\nBachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and 2 years of relevant professional experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.\n2 years of professional software development experience with Python, C/C++ and/or Rust.\nExperience with the following: Developing Python-based backend applications, services, and APIs.\n Building JavaScript/TypeScript frontend applications and web-based user interfaces.\n Software static and dynamic analysis.\n Software analysis and reverse engineering.\n Unit testing and automated software testing practices.\n Atlassian tools, including Jira, Confluence, and Crucible.\n\nFamiliarity with modern web application architectures, including frontend/back-end integration, REST APIs, and client-server communication.\nProficiency in software debugging and troubleshooting.\nUnderstanding of CNO development concepts.\nKnowledge of low-level internals of one or more operating systems, such as Windows or Unix/Linux.\nWhat Sets You Apart:\nExperience with: FastAPI, Flask, Django, or similar Python web frameworks.\n Experience with Vue.js, React, Angular, or similar JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.\n Docker and containerized applications.\n Git/GitLab-based software development workflows and CI/CD.\n Developing and deploying software in Linux environments.\n Working with virtual machines and virtualized environments, including Proxmox, VMware, or similar platforms.\n RESTful API design and OpenAPI/Swagger.\n Databases and backend data services such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or similar technologies.\n Writing automated tests using pytest or equivalent testing frameworks.\n\nFamiliarity with secure software development practices, vulnerability assessment, and application security.\nClearance Required: Ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI.\n AA / Disability / VeteranUS Salary Range: $92,000 - $142,000\nThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on several factors including location, skills, and experience.
