Overall, this role is responsible for monitoring and analyzing political developments at the national level, with a particular focus on Congress, the Executive Branch, and key congressional races. The individual will track political trends, candidate activity, polling, fundraising, and other race-related developments, translating this information into timely insights and presentations for national and regional leadership. The role also supports the team’s political engagement efforts by coordinating candidate meetings, appointments, and calls and maintaining accurate, up-to-date political data and systems.\nKey Responsibilities:\nKeep up on political news impacting Congress and the Executive Branch and remain informed on national political trends.\nTrack political developments.\nDevelop PowerPoints on political races and key political trends for use in national and regional briefings. \nMaintain knowledge of congressional races to manage databases and update information systems on congressional candidates, polling, fundraising, and other race-related data.\nSchedule candidate meetings, appointments, and conference calls\nOther departmental responsibilities as assigned.\nQualifications & Skills:\nBachelor's degree preferred, or commensurate experience\nCampaign or political experience preferred\nA strong commitment to the U.S.-Israel relationship\nBasic understanding of politics and the Middle East\nEffective writing skills\nStrong analytical skills\nExcellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail\nAIPAC is offering a competitive market base salary between $50,000.00and $55,000.00for the position. A job offer within the range will depend on how closely a candidate’s skills and experience match the role’s requirements.
