Assists with data integration, transformation, and quality monitoring while collaborating with stakeholders and developing foundational data engineering skills under close supervision.\n\nKey Result Responsibilities\n\nAssist in developing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines that ingest, transform, and load data from various sources to support analytics and reporting requirements. \nWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented SQL and Python code in line with established development standards and best practices. \nSupport data integration activities across data lakes, warehouses, and analytical platforms, ensuring reliable data availability. \nMonitor pipeline performance, investigate issues, and escalate data quality or operational concerns as required. \nPerform data validation and error-handling checks to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data outputs. \nMaintain documentation for data pipelines, workflows, and transformation processes. \nParticipate in code reviews and collaborate with team members to promote quality and continuous improvement. \nWork closely with data analysts and data scientists to understand requirements and deliver data engineering solutions that support business needs.\n\nQualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. \nFluent in English language.\nProficiency in SQL and working knowledge of at least one scripting language (Python preferred)\nFamiliarity with ETL/ELT concepts and data integration patterns\nExposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and common storage services\nBasic knowledge of data modelling and warehousing principles\nUnderstanding of version control practices using Git\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to data quality\nEagerness to learn, receive feedback, and grow in a team environment\nBasic understanding of relational database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)\n\nWork Experience\n\nWith 1–2 years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or a related technical role (including internships or academic projects).
