Let your career take flight by joining our diverse and vibrant team at the leading edge of passenger aviation.\nThe Data & AI Analyst (Governance, Integration) is responsible for the technical enablement, integration, and operational support of Air Canada's enterprise data governance platform. Working closely with Data Governance, Data Engineering, Architecture, Security, and business teams, the role supports user onboarding, source system integration, metadata ingestion, and the delivery of trusted metadata and lineage across the enterprise. The incumbent will help implement and support platform capabilities that enable governance, compliance, analytics, and AI initiatives.\nResponsibilities:\nImplement and support integrations between the data governance platform and enterprise systems.\nConfigure, maintain & document metadata ingestion, lineage, workflows, and platform capabilities.\nDevelop API-based and custom integrations to support metadata management and automation.\nDefine and maintain metadata mappings, ingestion standards, and integration documentation.\nSupport onboarding, training, and adoption across business and technical teams.\nTroubleshoot integration, lineage, and metadata quality issues.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to improve metadata coverage, governance processes, and platform usage.\nQualifications\nUniversity degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.\n3-5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise data and metadata integrations.\nExperience with enterprise data governance, metadata management, or data catalog platforms (e.g., Microsoft Purview, Atlan, Collibra, Databricks Unity Catalog, Alation, or similar solutions).\nExperience configuring and supporting metadata connectors and ingestion pipelines.\nExperience designing and implementing API-based integrations and metadata ingestion workflows.\nExperience developing custom integrations using technologies such as Python, Java, or REST APIs.\nStrong understanding of metadata management, data lineage, and data modelling concepts.\nAbility to define and maintain metadata mappings, ingestion standards, and governance requirements.\nExperience troubleshooting integration, connector, and metadata quality issues.\nUnderstanding of modern data and analytics platforms such as Snowflake, Dataiku, and Power BI, and how they integrate with data governance platforms and processes, is an asset.\nStrong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\nDemonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.\nConditions of Employment:\nCandidates must be eligible to work in the country of interest at the time any offer of employment is made and are responsible for obtaining any required work permits, visas, or other authorizations necessary for employment.
