• You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job, including a target bonus opportunity

What You Will Do

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing maintenance team
• Oversee all maintenance operations, including preventive maintenance, service requests, apartment turns, inventory management, and vendor relationships
• Ensure work orders are completed efficiently and to company standards
• Partner with community leadership to identify maintenance priorities, capital needs, and asset preservation initiatives
• Manage maintenance budgets and expenses while maintaining exceptional quality and resident satisfaction
• Maintain compliance with AIR Communities operating standards, safety protocols, and applicable regulations
• Promote a culture of accountability, customer service, and operational excellence
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient maintenance operation that supports long-term property performance

What You Have

• 3+ years of maintenance and facilities management experience within multifamily housing or a related industry
• Previous experience leading and developing maintenance teams
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliance repair, preventive maintenance programs, and general building operations
• Experience managing vendors, budgets, and maintenance operations
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations as needed
• Ability to perform physical job duties and move equipment as required
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
