This is a customer-facing, hands-on warehouse position working in a manual inventory management environment. The Warehouse Associate will pick, pack, and ship customer orders utilizing a warehouse management system, receive and put away stock and drop-ship orders, perform basic inventory practices, and maintain an organized warehouse environment.\nThis person must be able to balance and appropriately prioritize concurrent tasks. The role will also serve as a backup delivery driver when needed. A company box truck is available at the warehouse, and the employee must be insurable to operate the company vehicle. The employee will also need to be able to access military bases as required.\nThe position is primarily based in the warehouse with no regular travel to other warehouse locations. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations; however, such duties will be reasonable, job-related, and consistent with the scope, level, and classification of the position.\nEssential Functions:\nReceive and put away all stock and drop-ship orders\nUtilize the warehouse management system to support warehouse and inventory activity\nPerform basic inventory practices\nSupport counting and inventory activities with a strong focus on attention to detail and inventory accuracy.\nMaintain cleanliness of the warehouse.\nWrite up and report returns to the Inside Sales group for restocking\nServe as a backup delivery driver if the primary driver is unavailable\nMake deliveries using the company box truck when needed\nMaintain insurability to operate the company vehicle\nBe able to access military bases as required\nSafely perform warehouse activities in accordance with applicable safety and OSHA requirements\nBalance and appropriately prioritize concurrent tasks\nSupport customer-facing warehouse activities as needed\nWork Environment & Physical Demands:Work full-time onsite in a warehouse environment in Seattle, WA\nWork in a manual inventory management warehouse environment\nOperate a forklift, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed\nPull products from elevated locations utilizing ladders, mobile stairs, and forklifts\nClimb ladders and stair\nWork from elevated platforms and locations\nLift up to 50 lbs. The intake requirements indicate the ability to lift at least 70 lbs\nUnder 1/3 of the time, the role may require lifting over 100 lbs\nSafely perform warehouse activities in accordance with applicable safety and OSHA requirements\nOperate a company box truck when serving as the backup delivery driver\nMust be insurable to operate the company vehicle\nMust be able to access military bases as required\nRequired Experience: \nWarehouse experience\nStrong attention to detail, especially with counting and inventory\nMust be able to serve as a back-up delivery driver if the delivery driver calls in sick\nMust be insurable to drive the company vehicle / box truck\nMust be able to lift at least 70 lbs\nMust be able to climb a ladder and work on an elevated platform\nPrior forklift and pallet jack experience.
