Engagement Managers lead Govini projects, setting, directing, and executing against customer requirements, project objectives, and account strategies to deliver value to national security clients. As the lead for project and account direction, expansion, and growth, Engagement Managers are experts in the “so what.” They can see the big picture and understand the needs of decision-makers, program managers, and analysts across the national security space. They manage senior client relationships and high-visibility deployments of Air's SaaS platform and Advisory Services, demonstrating an ability to be creative, entrepreneurial, and strategic in vision while driving focused, tactical execution. \nAt Air, Engagement Managers roll up their sleeves with our Analyst and Implementation Teams to ensure client success. They are domain and functional experts who understand our clients’ operating environments and challenges and leverage this expertise to architect solutions and ensure smooth execution. Engagement Managers are passionate about our client’s success and ensure excellence in project delivery and platform adoption. You’re passionate about the mission and use Air's offerings and capabilities to drive change.\nThis is a full-time team member position, working in the office at our Arlington, VA location.\nThis role may require up to 50% travel\nScope of Responsibilities\nDeliver business and mission impact to clients\nLeverage Air analytic capability and technology to develop persistent data-driven solutions to clients\nWork with sales teams to understand client problems and needs, scope new work and develop work statements\nDevelop engagement work plans and align our teams into an efficient resource plan\nLead complex analytic projects, data and software deployments\nLead and manage client engagement with senior-level relationships\nManage high-quality project execution to ensure delivery exceeds client expectations while smartly employing team resources\nDiscover valuable insights for our sponsors’ business and present them in a concise and compelling manner to executives\nLead, mentor, train, and provide quality assurance for Business Analysts\nTranslate client’s business challenges into software use cases\nDrive the adoption and persistent use of Air's solutions\nCollaborate with Product Managers to configure Air's SaaS platform for user needs\nDevelop a deep understanding of client workflows to inform the configuration of our data and technology\nIdentify and scope expansion opportunities within existing accounts\nRegularly assess individual and team performance to reduce cognitive biases and refine products and internal processes\nQualifications\nU.S. Citizenship is required\nRequired Skills: \n4+ years of experience in client engagement in consulting\nSubject matter expertise with one of the following: national security strategy and policy, supply chain risk management, industrial base, and market assessments, technology scouting and innovation markets, federal budgeting and procurement processes, government contracting landscape; AND/OR experience in management consulting, advisory services, software-as-a-service (SaaS), information services, analytical tools, or data analytics industries\nStrong business acumen, excellent professional demeanor with a willingness to work outside of your comfort zone without hesitation\nExceptional ability to visualize and present complex information and concepts, with experience in how national security clients prefer to receive information\nReferenceable history of exceptional performance\nDetail-oriented with outstanding verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to manage multiple work-streams and projects from start to finish, to learn quickly, and to work independently \nDesired Skills: \nCurrent possession of a U.S. security clearance, or the ability to obtain one with our sponsorship\nExperience in or exposure to the nuances of a startup or other entrepreneurial environment\nExperience working within or supporting the Federal Government or Federal Civilian agencies\nMBA or advanced degree from a top-tier institution\nWe firmly believe that past performance is the best indicator of future performance.
