By revealing true capacity, exposing real constraints, coordinating resources, and executing at the speed of operational demands, the front line gets what it needs to succeed.\nJob Description\nWe are seeking an experienced professional to drive robust software adoption across Air's SaaS user base and manage a team of Implementation Engineers. \nIn this role as an Implementation Manager, you will be responsible for defining and optimizing user engagement by driving new, outcome-oriented initiatives. You will own the implementation and technical enablement of strategic deployments, provide surge support to deployments assigned to your direct reports, and work closely with Engagement Managers and Sales to align on account strategies, renewal forecasting, staffing plans, and account opportunities and risks. You will strengthen the product feedback loop and build effective relationships with Product Managers, Engineering, Data Science, and QA. You will be accountable for implementing operational practices to track performance of teams and individuals.\nYou understand the US Government and Defense acquisition processes and the importance of effective and efficient program management, supply chain risk management, and program and technology modernization. You ask hard, uncomfortable questions. You have a professional acumen that allows you to lead conversations with top government agency officials. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in setting and assessing key performance metrics, making responsible decisions in ambiguous settings, and delivering results related to technical product implementation and user adoption, in service of retention and renewal.\nThis role is a full-time position located out of our office in Arlington, VA.\nThis role requires up to 50% travel to client sites across the United States.\nScope of Responsibilities\nHire, train, and lead a team of software Implementation Engineers\nPlan and allocate IE resources, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed throughout the deployment lifecycle\nDevelop expertise in Air's customers, offerings, and data, and support customers as a Air product and data expert\nProactively drive utilization of the product using targeted training and engagement strategies that drive mission outcomes and analytical insights for platform users\nOversee the execution of user engagement best practices to drive product utilization using targeted engagement strategies\nExecute the successful implementation of software and data to Air's customers and address and solve user needs through the use of Air's platform and creatively develop solutions to difficult user problems\nDevelop and implement scalable delivery frameworks and methodologies to ensure alignment between strategic objectives and tactical execution, driving consistency and efficiency across deployments.\nUse coding languages (SQL, Python) to conduct technical platform configuration and data integration and provide technical guidance to Implementation Engineers\nCapture client feedback, surface user problems, and elicit user needs and workflows to support the evolution of the Air platform\nCollaborate with Air Engagement Managers and Product Managers to capture market demand for inclusion into Air's offerings\nAddress escalated client issues with speed and urgency, orchestrating resources across the company as appropriate\nBuild and manage client relationships\nLead execution teams and/or work streams\nHelp drive and enable renewal and expansion, reduce churn, and drive new business growth through greater advocacy\nProvide leadership to a highly motivated and engaged team\nBe an inspirational role model by challenging and maximizing the strength of the team and aligning their efforts to the mission and vision of the organization\nQualifications\nU.S. Citizenship is required\nBachelor’s Degree\nRequired Skills: \nExpertise in national security, defense policy, federal budgeting, acquisition and procurement processes, government contracting, supply chains, and/or product management for public sector customers \nMinimum of five (5) years of experience in customer success, public sector consulting, advisory services, software-as-a-service (SaaS) or subscription-based tools, information services, or data analytics\nMinimum of two (2) years of people management experience\nProven excellence in interacting with DoD and/or national security senior leaders\nStrong written and oral communication skills, including strong presentation skills\nKnowledge of Federal organizations and functions, e.g. understanding organizational structures, hierarchies, and how to apply software product use cases to target stakeholders \nPassionate about leading people and improving processes \nDemonstrated aptitude to learn new technical content \nDemonstrated excellence in analytical thinking, process development and improvement, problem-solving, communication, delegation, and planning\nAble to be flexible and agile in responding to evolving business priorities and dealing with ambiguity\nProven ability to develop strategies, translate them into initiatives, and track successful delivery\nWillingness to work hard, be strategic, and do the right thing for the business\nDesired Skills: \nCurrent possession of a U.S. security clearance, or the ability to obtain one with our sponsorship\nExperience in or exposure to the nuances of a startup or other entrepreneurial environment\nStrong SQL skills\nMaster’s Degree preferred \nWe firmly believe that past performance is the best indicator of future performance.
