Please note that these terms may be subject to change.\nGreat Opportunity to work for a large collections team!\nAs an Accounts Receivable Agent, you will be a key member of our finance team, playing an essential role in supporting the financial health of Air Liquide Canada’s organization while promoting ALC’s safety and quality objectives.\nIn this role, you will support Sales and Customer Service teams by providing effective credit and collection services, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring timely and accurate collection of outstanding payments. The position requires a proactive approach to collections, strong customer service and dispute resolution skills, and the ability to effectively manage a portfolio of customer accounts in a fast-paced environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage daily collection activities for an assigned portfolio of customer accounts, prioritizing efforts to maximize collection results through proactive communication via phone, email, and other channels.\nMonitor account balances, identify overdue accounts, and follow up on outstanding, unapplied, or unidentified receivables to ensure timely payment.\nLead customer dispute resolution processes by collaborating with Sales and other internal departments to resolve billing errors, pricing discrepancies, invoice issues, and payment-related inquiries while maintaining excellent customer service.\nIdentify significant credit risks and potential account issues, escalating concerns to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor and Sales Team as required.\nMaintain positive and professional customer relationships during collection efforts while supporting long-term customer satisfaction and loyalty.\nImplement corrective and preventive measures to effectively address customer concerns and improve collection processes.\nAccurately document and maintain up-to-date records of all collection activities, customer communications, and follow-up actions.\nCollaborate closely with internal teams to support collection objectives and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.\n___________________\nAre you a MATCH?\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in finance, accounting, administration, or a related field is considered an asset.\n\n3 years of experience in accounts receivable,collections, or a related finance function, preferably within a corporate environment.\n\nStrong understanding of basic accounting principles and accounts receivable practices.\n\nExcellent customer service, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.\n\nStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.\n\nDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nProven success managing an accounts receivable portfolio and achieving collection targets.\n\nCommercial collections experience.\n\nExperience working with ERP systems such asSAP or Oracle.\n\nProficiency with Google Suiteand Microsoft Excel.\n\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within fast-paced environments.\n\nProfessional, proactive, and customer-focused approach.\n\nOur Differences make our Performance\nAt Air Liquide, we are committed to build a diverse and inclusive workplace that embraces the diversity of our employees, our customers, patients, community stakeholders and cultures across the world.\nWe welcome and consider applications from all qualified applicants, regardless of their background.
