The Branch Operations Manager directs, plans, and coordinates all daily operational and sales activities for the branch. This role is responsible for driving branch profitability, maintaining and driving safety standards, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading a high-performing team.Direct and coordinate activities of the branch concerned with the sale & distribution of gas & hardgoods including both stores & yard activities \nTo abide by the current Safety, Health and Environment policy giving priority to the safety of employees, customers, visitors & contractors at all times.\nDeliver exceptional customer experience, with a passion and enthusiasm for driving to improve customer satisfaction wherever possible.\nReview financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine opportunities for efficiencies and program improvement.\nManagement of team, preparing work schedules & assigning specific duties.\nResponsible for ensuring compliance to processes & legal obligations including road transport legislation \nManagement & responsibility for delivery vehicles including road safety & load security \nResponsible for the recording of KPI’s & branch related metrics \nDrive employee engagement. Lead and develop team to create a “One Team” atmosphere.\nWork alongside the Sales team to help to achieve the Company’s sales and profit targets.\nWorking with the Plant Manager where appropriate \nSatisfactory operation of the Company’s purchasing and stock control system.\nBe instrumental in accurate and timely stock counts.\nMonitor the safekeeping of cash on the premises, with regards to cash sales ensure that the cash book balances at all times.\n__________________\nAre you a MATCH?\nThe ideal person for this role will be an experienced Leader with proven experience in a distribution environment.
